TMOASM – Dec 2008
Last weekend, we held “TMOASM: The Mother Of All Speech Marathons”, which is a joint event between Accenture and Free Spirits. I owe you the outcome of that event: We started at 3:30 PM and finished at 7:25 PM (when it was all set and done). In between we got seven (7) speeches, seven (7) evaluations and one speech project out of the Success/Leadership series done. At the end of the meeting Maria Trapp submitted her paperwork for her Competent Leader. Loretta Desilus completed her Competent Communicator and I finished my Advanced Communicator Gold. Others made progress towards their CC and CL. In the process an unaccounted number of Bratwurst lost their lives. They will be remembered. Free Spirits has now nine (9) out of ten (10) goals achieved. As soon as Toastmasters Int re-opens the website for data entry Free Spirits will be ”President Distinguished”. I’d like to thank all participants of yesterday’s event for their dedication and commitment. What a great way to end the first half of the Toastmaster Year 2008/2009.
