1. Toastmasters means business
In Division H, we have a club with the name “Toastmasters means business”. This club came to us in the first half of this Toastmaster Year and I always admired their name choice. At Toastmasters we talk a lot about overcoming the fear of public speaking. This is an important mission, but only the beginning of the journey. The true value of Toastmasters is that our educational system improves our ability to articulate thoughts, to convey a message and to lead. Thus, Toastmasters is the perfect training ground for current and future corporate athletes. Read more.

3. Status of Division
The Division is on track for another great year. Our club members spend a great deal of energy achieving educational goals. At this point 50% of our clubs have 5 or more Distinguished Club Plan points. All five areas have a chance to be Distinguished or better. This is remarkable and gives us hope to expect a strong finish for this Toastmaster year.
We continue to grow in Division H. As mentioned, we already started one club, “Toastmasters means business”. Just recently I spoke to our Ltd Governor Marketing Nancy Malthouse. She is working with us to establish two additional new clubs in Division H. Management Concepts has filed its charter papers on April 2 2010. This latest addition to Division H will reside in Area H5. Also, we are working on a new club at Sallie Mae. The initial demo meeting is scheduled for April 29 2010. If this new club comes through, then it will reside in Area H2.
