Dear Andreas, I read your book last week, and was captivated by it. As someone who has been a TOC practitioner for more than 20 years, and who knows well and thinks so highly of Rob, I was interested in and appreciated your presentation of CCPM and the ProChain approach to implementing it. But what really socked me between the eyes is the fact that my daughter was diagnosed with glioblastoma 4-1/2 years ago, and she has been beating the horrible statistics ever since – proof that statistics and forecasts tell a story in aggregate, but can’t predict exactly what will happen to an individual and when. As you can imagine, I read with an eye on your understanding of the disease and its treatment protocols, and my heart knowing all too well the plight of the parents in the story. I finished the book teary eyed, and appreciated it from all those angles. If you attend TOCICO this year, I hope to meet you. Please send my regards to Rob and Bill.
Lisa, this is an incredible coincidence. I am glad for your daughter beating the odds – like Timmy. Over the course of the years working in pharma I learned about many of these cases. The research in this field is far from being complete. We need to learn more and I hope that Critical Chain can help in that process.
